When an Asian solo traveler loses his belongings and his group while on vacation in the Netherlands, he is mistaken for an asylum seeker. He ends up in a temporary asylum centre on a big cruise ship in Amsterdam, where he connects with the residents and staff, despite the fact that he can only communicate non-verbally. This hybrid film is made with non-actors and refugees who play themselves and is inspired by a true story.
