From 13 - 23 November, Amsterdam will play host to the 38th edition of IDFA, the world's largest Documentary Film Festival. A large number of Dutch documentaries and co-productions will celebrate their world premiere and compete for IDFA Awards.

Furthermore, you can read and watch the SEE NL Interviews with Dutch directors and XR creators. These will be regularly published on our website.
Also at IDFA 2025: Iranian-Dutch artist and filmmaker Ali Eslami will be the first recipient of the Wendy Gutman Award which will be presented on Friday, October 17, 2025, in collaboration with: Het Documentaire Paviljoen in Amsterdam.
